As a software tester that is on a path becoming a passionate software tester, you need to be aware that your name is your brand. The brand has two crucial components, awareness and association. The post is based on a remarkable book written by Chad Fowler, The Passionate Programmer.

Being a jerk software tester is not part of positive association attributes. Google never forgets (it could if you explicitly ask them, but it takes time). So all your Internet trail, forum conversations, blog comments, is reachable via Google. This is the answer to your personal brand. Go and Google yourself:
